Maybe CJ can summon some alien help!

When does Mikalos get cut? Don’t think we’re gonna need another bunt from him 😎

Maybe they can use the late season to work on breaking the home field jinx.

AHHH the beginning of yet another home stand at the point they start playing meaningless games in August YEAR 8 . Nothing says Failure like the Recap of a Nationals Season and that has held now 21 seasons all BUT ONE and that ONE is so ignored by MLB just like the team is ignored. They don't include then in highlight montages, the people hired to promote and discuss the league rarely mention them unless they are promoting yet another round of picking apart the team to makes others better. The TV network is so bad that a Public Access channel would do a better job and broadcast crew is always GASLIGHTING and TROLLING . I miss Ray Knight and Phil Wood as pompous as he could be was far better defending DC Baseball then anyone currently. We have the best Radio CREW out their so that is something, but the whole package outside of radio feels so dismissive you have to wonder does anybody who is a position to effect change have a clue how really bad this situation has become and it's not new but it should have been addressed but the Boy Wonder does not care and The Beaver is too young to know as they all like to point out they are not from here.

Yes, Charlie and Dave really are emong the best radio crews out there. I listen enough to the competition via Sirius/XM when the Nats are out of town to feel confident in that analysis. They aren't the only good crews, but they are top 5 for sure.

As for the TV crew, I miss Bob Carpenter but Dan Kolko is not the worst. Franny doesn't exactly have a voice of silk and he loses the script from time to time but at least he's not FP, Dibble, or Don Sutton (RIP). I do like it when Ryan joins the team and Denard filled in nicely for.a few games.

If they make a change on the analyst in the future, I think it would be nice to find a former pitcher and/or manager to add perspective. I doubt he would do it, but Max would be entertaining. Maybe Doolittle.

I'm too lazy to look it up and there probably is't enough data to assess anyway, but how well does Tena defend 2B? I know he's not Danny Espinosa out there, but he's not a brick wall either. Thoughts?

Nasim Nunez has 6 defensive runs saved at second base(second in MLB at the position) in 966.1 innings, to 0 in 26 innings for Curtis Mead, 0 in 38 innings for Jose Tena and -1 in 207 innings for Jorbit Vivas, according to The Fielding Bible.

I’m at the Wilmington Blue Rocks game at Frawley Stadium - I REALLY WANT TO SEE MR CELERY. If I do you will know about it here. I also want the Nats to score some runs too

Mark, use the night off to catch your breath and relax. Thank you for being on top of everything that has transpired over the past week or so. Your coverage has been hectic, comprehensive, and fantastic. If anyone deserves a break, it's you.
