Vivas and Tena both in the lineup. Count that as another development not on my bingo card for this season.

I can’t even believe they’re both on the roster. But, here we go.

NME's avatar

I think they are still evaluating which one to keep as neither can be sent down.

Millas getting more PA was one of my many hopes going in, excited to see the development. His baserunning will surely be coming into play.

I'm not gonna lie, Millas splitting time was NOT something I expected. I thought they'd be giving all the PT they could to Ruiz to see if he's gonna be the guy. Seems they already know the answer to that: it appears Ford will be the guy sooner than later. 🤷

Let the Jorbit Vivas era begin!

These lineups are something, but if they work......

If they work . . . then fans will be asking Lerner if he's l extending long term contact offers to . . . Toboni, Kilambi, Matthews et. al.

I am happy to hear CJ owned up to that gaffe the other day, but I am more interested to see if this is really the last time it “won’t happen again.”

I don’t believe it will be. Team won’t make a big deal out of it bc they’re trying to keep his trade value high but it’s ridiculous. Always little stuff like this

Let's go Blake and 0, boys!

It's so incredibly refreshing to see that Ruiz won't automatically start 120 games just because he has a more expensive contract. I'd love to see him earn that right, but until then, happy to see playing time split.

Sorry to hear about the death in CJ's family.

If the wind is blowing out, it might be football score this afternoon.

None of them got this far without working hard and having some skills. Let’s see what they’ve got. BTW- broadcast is on Fios 579, but very glitchy so far.

Bright, sunny and cold at Wrigley. Play ball !

Ok what is so hard about having a Pregame Show and a Postgame Show and can someone please fix the streaming login with Cable as your provider

CBinDC's avatar

Ohh when did that start because the Cable Channel had the NEVER ENDING LOGO until 2:00

Susan H aka pitchingfan's avatar

The logo is fine, but that music . . . .

gonatsgo1's avatar

Channel 1261 had a pre-gamer.

Why is our slugging outfielder batting 9th? 😁

And we're underway on a sunny, but chilly, 41-degree Saturday afternoon at Wrigley.

James Wood is BROKEN

Why does Butera want a strikeout king to lead off? This guy can't hit a beach ball right now

Max Patkin's avatar

He's more likely to see fastballs in that spot, and the leadoff man is generally expected to work the count. Perhaps their plan is to get him to focus on the zone and looking for fastballs to drive?

DCSportsfan63's avatar

I told you he should be in the lineup and leading off! There’s hope for him yet

Max Patkin's avatar

Lol. When he hits bombs, Butera is a genius!
