I tried to find when the Nats last had a .500 record in the middle of May and couldn't find it. Anyone know that answer? I'm saying: Keep the offense going! Get the Sweep. Stay in sole possession of 2nd place in NL East. Get on a 6 -1 10 game winning Streak. Keep getting Curly Ws. Keep rooting for the Nats. GO NATS!!
Just saw an interesting fact about former twice-Nat Josh Bell:
Josh Bell stole his first base since Sept. 27, 2018. The 978-game gap between steals was the longest for a batter since at least 1900, according to the Elias Sports Bureau.

I was going to say 2019, until I remembered they were well under .500 in May and didn't reach .500 until the end of June. So maybe 2018?
25-18 over all and 11 - 10 at home after a 5-3 home win against the Yanks on May 15, 2018.
May 14, 2024 (so 2 years ago today) they beat the White Sox 6-3 in game 1 of a doubleheader to get to 20-20.
Lost game 2, and the next 4 after that, and never got to .500 again.
Thanks for the fact checking! I do not remember that.
I didn’t either!
Baseball Reference is a great source!
Just heard on WTOP Radio (103.5 FM) sports report that Nats game would be on 1580AM today. Don’t know if that is correct.
WTOP radio always promotes the AM station instead of 106.7 The Fan. I just checked and the game is on 106.7.
👍
Thanks
Excited to be at GABP to see a potential sweep, to see Griffin for the first time, and maybe even run into our esteemed beat reporter!

Cole Henry and Clayton Beeter have started their rehab assignments down at the Florida Complex in West Palm.
Sweep! Mop them up! Let’s go!
Here's hoping the Nats chase Burns!
We are underway on an unseasonably cool, 58-degree Thursday afternoon in Cincinnati.
Hey, James got one!
And Burns opens with a 1-2-3 top 1st.
