Learned that a long time ago. W/o the dog, I’m a potential threat. With the dog, I’m just a stupid old man with a walker.
When we got our first Shiba Inu, my neighbor ( a med student) asked to borrow her. He said she was a chick magnet. I guess chicks dig the long ball and dogs!
Haha! My uncle said the same thing but he and his wife had a Siamese cat. The cat was trained to walk on a leash and traveled with them camping to the beach, the mountains, etc.
