The Nats pitching woes are not unexpected. It is, however, surprising how the Nats struggled to score against the Marlins. The trend of poor play against the Marlins continues under the new regime. Simply unexplainable.
Here’s to them using day oFF Thursday to Flush the Fish Fever that aFFected all Facets of their games against Miami; and get back to playing quality, engaging baseball on the road as they have all season 👍
One WEEK , ALL THEY CAN MANAGE IS ONE GOOD WEEK AFTER SEVEN SEASONS OF GARBAGE THEY PLAY WELL FOR ONE WEEK and then right back to the lazy why care to play at all attitude that has been the Hallmark of this team they should ashamed but history tells me they don’t care
The Tarp Off guys were there, in the center field seats. Not as many as last night, but they were joyous and raucous and fun. Made a frustrating day at the park a little less frustrating. And whoever manages a scoreboard has bought in as they showed Tarp Off highlights between innings during the last inning or so.
We were sitting in the last row of the 300 section right next to the Nats Nats Nats section. Since the Nats are leaving town, they had to get rid of pizza, hot dogs, nachos, pretzels, etc. So an usher came by and announced, "There's free food back there," pointing to a hot dog stand. I got nachos, my friend Scott got a pretzel.
So so so glad this series is finally over. The Marlins are actually so irritating. They roll over for every team but us, why?

Alvarez is making the most of the opportunity he has earned. Great to see!
He sure is pitching well. That was about the only bright spot in the game for the Nats. Now hope the Nats can go back to beating good teams!
Not sure at all what to expect next series. Is this the new normal or can they regain their overachieving ways…
Toboni et al still have work to do raising the floor of this team.
It could have been worse. If Nasim didn’t make those three plays and Crews didn’t make that catch then it would have been a blow-out.
Beautiful day at the Park, but the only way to put lipstick on the pig of the result is to see it as #FirstWorldProblem
Let's get hitterish on this upcoming series and turn the page
The Fish out-homered us 8-1. Where was the "best offense in baseball."

A little extreme . The sky is not falling Chicken Little
More than a little extreme:))
I found myself wondering why the fish haven’t won more games. 🤷♀️
Okay, some highlights:

We weren’t the GOAT before and we aren’t the worst team in baseball now. Step by step. Wonderful and hopeful begining
