Gotta be one of the more uplifting games that I’ve ever watched.

Baseball’s back baby!!

That was us k. It came in before I saw the final out! Thanks, Mark!

I didn’t doubt this team for a moment.

Why does it seem more exhilarating than it really is. I mean, it’s one win.

nebco66's avatar

Because it creates hope, and that is priceless.

And dangerous 😉

But still worth enjoying!

This is a level of quality of play we didn't see much of last year - that's why.

Because hope springs eternal and it’s the first game after a long, cold, bleak winter and collectively we are like sugared up 8 year olds on Christmas morning. Any other reasons needed? Don’t bring down Opening Day with rationality.

Because no matter how bad the season becomes, we will always have March 26 to remember and cherish. It becomes the game we will all remember.

Nice start

Loved syncing Charlie and Dave with our new TV channel

Joey Wiemer strikes me as one of those players like Josh Bell where, if his crazy complex mechanics are synced, he can stay hot and go nuts for a month. Then ice cold otherwise, but right now he looks like he's on a Bell-esk heater.

Hondo's avatar

Or perhaps a “ Bell shaped curve”.

what I liked most about this game, Nationals winning 10-4

Really happy for Young. We've heard a lot about how much he's been working on his swing and trying to bring up the offensive side of the game. Good start!

Super impressed with the win. Pitching solid, great hitting just worried about Wood. 5 terrible at bats. Based on his performance in ST, he should be in AAA and Hassell or Franklin should be in the majors. Super impressive performance by House and Weimer.

agree on Wood, not a good start. Also wish CJ would have run out that hit. Hope staff gets everyone to run hard on every play

CJ’s TOOTBLAN was the lowlight of the game and I hope Butera/Taboni address it appropriately, whatever that may be.

Think Alexa Datt does a good job. Happy to have her covering the team.

Met her (two times) in West Palm. A pleasure to talk to and she's a local !

Yes, she is great.

Well, was thinking we take 1 from each of Cubs, Phillies and Dodgers.

Maybe it'll be more?

This team played better against good teams that against medium or bad teams. Maybe this year it’s similar
