Keibert is getting better at challenges; this coaching staff are miracle workers

Keibert has gotten better at defense too! I have a lot of faith in the front office and coaching staff to get us where we need to go.

I have not seen this so-called improvement.

Clutch hitting when needed!

Boy howdy! Do we ever need Griffin to go deep tomorrow. The bullpen has got to be on fumes.

Nats now back in second place. A chance tomorrow for the sweep and a .500 record.

I wonder how the Reds fans are feeling about their fellow fan tonight. You CAN’T interfere there.

Early game tomorrow.

Great win after finding ourselves in a deep hole in the first inning..

flyingdonut's avatar

Frandsen said this win snapped a 60 game losing streak when the Nats were down by five or more runs - is that true?

Pkmusic78's avatar

He also said that the walk, in the first inning, was a “good” walk ….. then the grand slam!

Great game. One away from 500.

BTW, Morales went 3 for 5 tonight with 2 HR's. Just sayin'.

DCSportsfan63's avatar

If that fan hadn't interfered doesn't the runner on 3rd score and tie it up ? Can't remember where all the runners were but we owe that fan a big thanks

Bob Loeb's avatar

There was just the freebie runner at 2d at the time

DCSportsfan63's avatar

Ok and he scored so prob didn't matter but thanks fan anyway

Did not look like there was any effort to eject the fan. At Nats Park I’ve seen fan ejected for throwing back an opposition HR ball. In Chicago I think they eject you if you don’t throw it back.

One quibble, I don't think this is Daylen looking like last year. I think this is a step to being a slightly different and perhaps more complete hitter. Not just slashing doubles/triples, but also punishing 410/420 foot bombs. These were no-one-cares-if-you-celebrate no doubters.

What an amazing two games for Daylen Lile!! Loved seeing the joy and love of his family and friends.

Showed some moxie after being down 0-5. We’re (almost) legit!

DelmarvaNatitude's avatar

We are at least too legit to quit, anyways, There is certainly no quit on this scrappy team.

Andrew Cain's avatar

Thrilled to see Lile come up big again in front of his family and friends, but I could have done without the throat-slashing gesture.

It either connotes violence or shows up his opponents. Neither was necessary in his justifiable excitement.

Lile should be wearing a parachute for his first at bat Thursday.
