Will be interesting to see if medical news info has changed along with rest of front office! So far it seems to be much more transparent. This could be a real test case…

The other thing I have noticed is they seem to get MRI’s done and done quickly. Previously I can remember many times when it took literally weeks till a MRI was done. I just wonder if the rain delay contributed to the muscle strain and if so - is there something different that can be done to stay looser. I know they often shutdown a pitcher after a rain delay but didn’t in this case.

“Not too concerning,” the Nats say. Day-to-day type injury, no doubt. I hate that type of prognosis because it always takes much longer, at least for the Nats it does. I remember Crews injury last year when they said that and he was out of action for 3 months. And in the minors this year, Gavin Fien missed 5 weeks for wrist inflammation.
