Ruiz is a professional hitter, I hope some of the young ones develope into more consistent hitters, chasing less balls out of the strike zone, especially on full count pitches.
I find Mikols' response quite telling. I think Mark was correct on Nats Chat. This was the Nats letting Mikolas get his 10 years in. I suspect he knows it's over for him here. Very classy response.

Uh oh with Early. I sure hope Toboni had him checked out physically before he made the trade . We probably won't see him this year

As the Nats continue to flush the flotsam and jetsam from the starting rotation, keep an eye on the pitching transformation at the minor league level.
Fredericksburg alone has released eight pitchers since the beginning of July. Team Toboni is making room for guys they think have more promise.
