.500 through 66 games. Who’d ever thought that? Certainly not me. Not bad, not bad at all.

I remember the narrative around Willets around amongst the many local boards last summer that the primary motivator for the Nats taling Willets 1-1 over the other candidates was that we was cheaper. Willets is now the #4 prospect in baseball at 18 years old and in a system full of people that have had a lot of success developing players.

Was hoping for a sweep in Arizona, as we all were, but realistically just hoping they can win each series. Was excited to see the promotions. Especially excited about Petry going to Harrisburg and a much friendlier hitter’s park.

Willits to A+ Wilmington. Nats can’t hold him back—he’s too good. He’ll prob finish the year at Wilmington unless he can’t be ignored there.

Man, look at that Wilmington infield now…😲

Oh, just saw that Fitz-Gerald is being promoted to Harrisburg with Petry.

The youth, my God the youth.

Ethan Petry being promoted to AA H’burg is huge. He’s being billed as an OF/1b position player, but really he’s an outfielder. I was hoping he could play first base well, but not looking like it.

Yeah, Wilmington will be loaded.

Mark your calendars: Wilmington will visit the Frederick Keys for 4 games the last week of July. I may go to all of them.
